About Me

My photo
Ruth Johnstone
Hi! My name's Ruth and I'm a 26 year old professional living in London. I graduated from The Hammond School in 2007 with a Level 6 National Diploma in Professional Dance. I was then lucky enough to enjoy 6 years as a professional dancer, beginning at the age of 19 with a large cabaret show in Spain, and ending in South- East Asia...from casino's in Macau to backing dancing for Avicci in Hong Kong. I returned to the UK in December having made the decision to stop dancing- I've always been very career- minded and felt the time had come to find a more sustainable profession. I now work in Accounting, and am hoping that the Professional Practice (Arts) degree will help me to utilise the skills and attributes I have as a dancer and apply them to the 'real world'!
